Our Vice Chairman Jim Shealey passed away recently.
His service will be held in Akron Ohio at Sommerville Funeral Home on Monday May 16, 2022 at Arlington St. Church @ 11:00 – 12:00. The Service starts immediately after that at 12:00 – 2:00 PM (roughly).
Jim taught school, coached football and served as a city councilman in Akron before he came to Georgia. His family still resides in Akron.
Jim’s godson said that there are plans to have a separate memorial service here in Georgia sometime in the future. We will pass on the information when we receive it
