
Ray participated in an interview conducted by WABE reporter Sam Gringlas who was reporting for NPR-National Public Radio. Mr. Gringlas asked questions about how coalition districts from Gwinnett County felt about the Georgia proposed redistricting map. He asked several questions about possible impacts and challenges minorities could face if the map was approved. Gwinnett County Democrat chairwoman Brenda Lopez was the initial contact for the interview and she invited others to attend including; Gwinnett County Young Democrat chairman Jorge Granados and Edafe Sodje, chairman of NAPAC-Nigerian American Political Affairs Committee.
The participants met at Plaza Las Americas located at 733 Pleasant Hill Road, Lilburn, Georgia.
