On 12/19/2023 GAAC chairman Ray Harvin attended Gwinnett County Young Democrat final meeting for 2023. At that meeting GCYD reviewed the GA proposed redistricting map, heard from 2 candidates for sheriff and an annoucement from GCYD president Jorge Granardos that he willl be running for HD 98. Afterwards Ray had a chance to introduce GAAC to the group,, emphasize the importance of voting and he encourged future collaborations with GCYD and Gwinnett County Democrat events.
