This is an exciting time for the Democratic Party! It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage with people and inspire them to support Democratic candidates. One of the ways GAAC is fostering this interest is by introducing our members and friends to Democratic candidates.
On August 3, 2024, from 9 AM to 11 AM, we invite you to come and meet our special guest, Michelle Kang. Michelle is running for State House Seat 99 and will present her platform, followed by a Q&A session. It is crucial for African Americans in District 99 to vote for Michelle, as we believe this district is winnable with strong turnout. Currently, Republican Matt Reeves represents this district, having secured his win largely due to the gerrymandering tactics implemented by the Republican-controlled State House.
GAAC is fully committed to electing Democrats, and your support can make a difference! Additionally, if you live in Gwinnett County and are interested in helping us elect Michelle and other Democrats, please come and show your support.
