Ray Harvin with the Gwinnett Democrats

As the Vice Chair of the Political Affairs Curt Thompson said “ getting the various local Democratic Party groups together for an “all hands on deck” meeting to discuss a possible coordinated  strategy for the November General Election.  This would include the Gwinnett County Democratic Party, the Gwinnett Young Democrats and the Gwinnett Chapter of the DPG African American Caucus.   He went on to say that “agenda is to talk about our groups working together on a plan to push Democratic turnout in Gwinnett, to defend our top two targeted incumbents, pick up possibly two additional State House seats in Gwinnett and help Harris with Georgia with a high Democratic turnout in Gwinnett. “

The meeting was productive and plans were put into place for the various groups to work together better in the future. GAAC was glad to be a part of the meeting.`
